An install-action exploring the boundaries between body, object, and technology — and how we are inevitably bound to it. Installed in a shop window, a computer monitor invited interaction from passersby; gestures shifted from curiosity to control, from hesitation to command.
The work reveals the contradictory nature of our relationship with technology: playful yet dependent, modest yet authoritative. Initially activated by performers and later by the public, it exposes how interfaces choreograph our behaviour, questioning what embodiment and agency mean in a mediated world.
This project was possible with the supoort of Jesus College students run galary.
In collaboration with performers members of the Wolfson Performaning Arts society.
