Re-Claim Kollektiv invites you to

SoulCollage – An Artistic and Therapeutic Journey.

From Image to Movement – A Workshop with Guest Miguel Moreno.

In our workshop, we will embrace the profound theme of "loss and grief" through the gentle art of collage. By crafting emotional mosaics from simple cut-outs, we move from stillness to the flow of movement. As Pablo Picasso wisely said, "The purpose of art is to wash the dust of daily life off our souls." This workshop offers a serene space to refresh your spirit, unlock your creativity, and begin the journey of healing.

Through artistic expression, our wounds find their voice, transforming pain into a soothing memory. Embrace your creativity with the innocence and playfulness of a child. This journey requires the courage to look within and the openness to let your creativity guide you. Join us in this introspective adventure, and discover the healing power of art. Allow your creativity to surprise you in this brave and transformative experience, as we come together to heal and grow.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of "Re-gained: A Performative User Manual," an experimental and transformative project under the Flausen+ E-Werk Residency 2024.

This initiative explores loss and grief through performance and dance, creating a safe space for healing and personal growth.
In the face of loss, we seek answers. Though nothing can replace what we've lost, we aim to explore how performance and dance can transform this experience into an opportunity for change. Our project will develop a user manual presented as a performance, allowing participants to explore "loss" collectively as a catalyst for personal growth and new beginnings.
Guided by the profound insights of Jacques Derrida, this residency will redefine loss as a gateway to transformation. Through movement and collective dance, we will explore how performance can reshape our experiences of suffering, turning it into a creative and communal act. We envision this performative manual transcending the theater space, adaptable for galleries, festivals, and pop-ups.

The project is deeply personal, inspired by the recent loss of my son, which has shifted my perspective on life. Art, creativity, and expression have been my solace, and I am committed to exploring new ways to understand and cope with loss as a collective act. Though there are no universal recipes for dealing with loss, I believe art offers unique spaces for coping and transformation. This project is a journey of healing and change, aiming to create a dynamic and inclusive performance that fosters connection, resilience, and renewal.

Join us in this experimental exploration, there will be a few invitations for you to take part, where we will create a safe and supportive space for participants to embrace their losses and discover the potential for personal growth.

Through anthropological research, we will understand how different communities experience loss, finding commonalities and differences in their coping mechanisms. This research will inform our studio work, involving artists, dancers, performers, and the audience in a collaborative and reflective process.

Stay connected with us through social media as we document our journey and engage with the community. The outcomes of this residency will form the foundation for our user manual, set to be implemented in various venues like theaters, festivals, and galleries.
We invite you to be part of this transformative project, to explore, reflect, and heal together through the power of art and performance.
